Room Temperature Ingredients: Butter, eggs, and milk should be at room temperature for smoother batters and fluffier cakes
.
-
Don’t Overmix: Once you add flour, mix gently, overmixing can make cakes dense.

Check Your Oven Temperature: Use an oven thermometer to avoid undercooked or burnt bakes.

Cookies & Cupcakes Made Easy
-
Chill the Dough: For cookies that hold their shape, chill the dough for 15–30 minutes before baking.
-
Even Portions: Use a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop for evenly sized cookies and cupcakes.
-
Test for Doneness: Insert a toothpick in the center, it should come out clean for fully baked treats.

Quick Fixes for Baking Mistakes

Dry Cake: Brush with simple syrup or spread frosting to restore moisture.
-
Cracked Top: Lightly cover with frosting or powdered sugar, no one will notice!

Flattened Cookies: Ensure butter isn’t too soft and avoid overmixing.
